1 WEEK OF XMAS: CHRISTMAS AT DOWNTON

Season 1-5 of the Downton Abbey TV series are taking place between the years 1916-1924 and back then  upper-class women didn't really wear makeup and most certainly not a purple-y lipstick and false eyelashes.. but I figured it wouldn't be very fun if I posted a plain face on my 1 Week of Xmas makeup series so I chose to imagine a very simple and wearable look that could, eventually, have been something seen on the girls, perhaps 10 years later. Well, maybe not individual lashes, but just a bit more added colour and slightly more defined eyes.

I'MPERFECTION | SPECKLED EYELINER

I am always inspired by Illamasqua, their collections and photos - and of course Alex Box herself. The most recent idea of theirs that I fell for was the speckled eyeliner look seen in the I'mperfection Collection promo photos. Such a fun look to pair with a colourful lip  and a simple way of spicing up your regular eyeliner!

Tip: Add a colour of choice (or as many as you want!) to your black & white speckled eyeliner look for an extra pop!
